A Woman Sitting Down.

July 04, 2020

Hello everyone to my first of many blog posts to come! I would love to say thank you to everyone who is reading this, showing some love to my site and just continue to support me, keeping my inspiration going. With each blog post I will post a new piece of artwork and talk about the artistic process and/or the different ideas I had going in my mind. I have noticed myself become a bit chatty on Instagram and I thought it would be a great idea to elaborate more through a blog post for the ones who want to read what I have to say.

With all that being said, let’s talk about A Woman Sitting Down. I created A Woman Sitting Down while listening to my boyfriend play his drums. He was able to see what I was drawing and I was listening. It was becoming a rhythmically synchronistic experience as I was creating. I noticed myself using my normal shading technique or stripes to the beat of his drums or his drums following my movements. I plan to do more of these in sync creations with him because of how technical i became following a certain rhythm.

Thanks for making it this far, I hope that you stay tuned for upcoming projects, works and adventure. Be safe out there, wash your hands and remember you are light.
